Saturday Night Fever- February 13, 2010
Each February the Club hosts a Valentines Dinner and Dance with a new theme. In 2010 we will enjoy a Disco Theme on February 13, 2010 with a wonderful dinner, dance and silent auction. Haiti Water For Life Celebration - April 18, 2010
For 15 years the community, many organizations, Rotary Clubs, foundations and individuals have joined with the Ancaster Rotary club and project lead Roy Sheldrick to build the Haiti Water For Life Program.
Seeking to drill a total of 200 wells to bring clean, safe drinking water to over 200,000 people in the Artibonite Valley in central Haiti, the Water For Life Program has raised over 1.2 million dollars and brought life giving water to over 200 communities in the valley.
By late March 2010 it is hoped that the 200th well will be drilled. The timing is perfect as in March each year World Water Day is celebrated and in Hamilton the Public Waterworks department sponsors the Haiti Water Walk, to raise funds for the program. To date this annual event has raised over $90,000 and involved hundreds of individuals and children. You could join the walk for 2010 and contribute as well.
Join Us at a Celebration for the 200th Well!
