Printer Cartridge, Cell Phone Recycling Program

In a program using the assistance of Think Recycle, a Canadian company specializing in charitable recycling programs, the Ancaster Rotary Club is recycling used printer cartridges and cell phones to raise money for our community work and to reduce waste going to land fills.

Drop off boxes are located at the Ancaster Community Centre, Ancaster Community Services/Ancaster Library (lower lobby), Bick Financial, Wilson St. and at the UPS Store, Stone Church Road in the Meadowlands.

Any kind of inkjet or laser printer cartridge (no copier toner bottles please) can be placed in the collection boxes and we will package them and forward for recycling.

Your used cell phone can be deposited as well...only the phones with their batteries please. We do not need the chargers or other accessories.

This new venture of the Rotary Club of Ancaster will help to reduce the amount of these materials going to landfill and provide funds that we can invest in our community projects.

If you are an organization which uses a large number of printer cartridges or wish to have a collection box for your location, please use the form on our Contacts page and we will arrange for one of our members to work with you in this regard.
